The Department’s Weed Abatement Division is soliciting proposals from vendors to provide weed and brush abatement services for Fiscal Year 2012-2013 (July 1, 2012 to June 30, 2013). Up to 11 individual contracts will be awarded under this Request for Proposals (RFP). A two page Fact Sheet (Adobe PDF, 80.5 KB) explains more about the type of work being solicited.
THERE IS A MANDATORY PROPOSER’S MEETING ONJANUARY 18, 2012, at 10:00 A.M. The meeting will be held at the Department’s Headquarters located at 12300 Lower Azusa Road, Arcadia.
*Important formation regarding the Proposer’s Meeting* Parking in front of our facility is extremely limited. Late arrivals to the meeting may not be allowed to submit a proposal. Potential proposers are encouraged to arrive very early or simply park offsite on Durfee Avenue where there is ample street side parking. The walking distance from the Durfee Avenue parking to our Headquarters is about 200-300 yards.
