The Department’s Weed Abatement Division is soliciting bids from vendors to provide weed and brush abatement services for Fiscal Year 2013-2014 (July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014). Up to 10 individual contracts will be awarded under the two separate Invitation For Bids (IFB). A two page Fact Sheet (Adobe PDF, 82 KB) explains more about the type of work being solicited.
THERE IS A MANDATORY BIDDER’S MEETING ON JANUARY 24, 2013 at 9:00 A.M. The meeting will be held at the Department’s Headquarters located at 12300 Lower Azusa Road, Arcadia.
*Important formation regarding the Bidder’s Meeting* Parking in front of our facility is extremely limited. Late arrivals to the meeting may not be allowed to submit a bid. Potential bidders are encouraged to arrive very early or simply park offsite on Durfee Avenue where there is ample street side parking. The walking distance from the Durfee Avenue parking to our Headquarters is about 200-300 yards.
